Millennium Volunteers (MV) is an initiative that acknowledges the hard work and commitment of young people between the age of 16-24 in the voluntary sector and provides a nationally recognised accreditation which is accepted by employers.The Warwickshire & Birmingham wing supports the MV Award scheme and actively encourages its members to participate. Our cadets already contribute much of their time to help their local community and the MV Award provides them with recognition of this work.
Cadets who complete 100 hours of voluntary work within a 12 month period will receive the 'MV Certificate' and those who complete 200 hours are presented with the 'MV Award of Excellence'.
Top Place for the Wing
With a staggering 60,000 volunteer hours Warwickshire and Birmingham is the best performing ATC Wing in the Millennium Volunteers scheme.
