Step back 70 years to 1941 and dance the night away

Nuneaton based Air Cadets are all set to step back in time to the 1940's and they're inviting their friends and members of the ex service community and indeed anyone who enjoys a good dance to come along and join them for what looks set to be a nostalgic re-enactment of a swinging wartime 1940's dance night.

If you really want to get into the mood you can even come dressed for the 1940's.

The 1940's dance night is the latest in a string of events being held by 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron as part of their 70th Anniversary celebrations to mark the formation of the Air Training Corps in 1941.

So at 19:30hrs on Saturday the 2nd April 2011, the Saunders Hall Club in Bedworth will be decked out in genuine wartime style banners and bunting with music and realistic wartime sound effects provided by Woody's War Department, all helping to take everyone back in time to the early war years when air battles raged in the skies over Britain.
