1940's Wartime Blitz Ball
Dance The Night away

The Bedworth Civic Hall will be hosting a '1940's Wartime Blitz Ball' on the 15 th September 2006. The Blitz Ball organised by 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron of the Air Training Corps also marks the anniversary of one of the finest moments of British military History 'Battle of Britain Day' which sadly seems to be forgotten.

The Meridians Dance Band will be providing the 1940's big band sounds including Glenn Miller. Original sound and speech recordings from the war years and a licensed bar will also be helping to set the mood.

The Civic Hall will be decked out in genuine wartime style with banners and bunting and there will be plenty of space to dance the night away and socialise.
Why not join in this celebration of British history and step back in time to the 1940's for one evening. It's a chance to dress up in 1940's costume (optional) and jitterbug your way from the stresses and strains of modern day life!

Tickets priced at £10.00 are available from the Bedworth Civic Hall or from the Ticket Hotline on 07854 4970816 doors open at 7:30pm

So why not step back into the past and bring your friends and family for an evening filled with traditional music, dance, romance and memories.
