Christmas is a time to bring good cheer to all and that's exactly what the Air cadets from 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron did when they went to sing Christmas carols for the residents of Galanos House Royal British Legion Poppy Home in Warwickshire.
Flight Lieutenant Paul Hincks OIC 121 Squadron said, “When I was asked if the cadets would like to go and sing some carols for the resident veterans at Galanos House I thought it was an excellent idea but I was unsure if the cadets would share my enthusiasm. How wrong I was, as soon as we mentioned the idea to them, the cadets jumped at the chance and what made it even more surprising was that we actually had a cadet with choir directing experience who came forward to organise everything for us”.
“I must say that at such short notice, 15 year old Cadet William Mott did an excellent job in setting up our Squadron's carol singing choir. I was so proud of all the cadets who took part. In the true spirit of Christmas these young people certainly helped to bring some special seasonal cheer for the old soldiers and residents of the Galanos House Royal British Legion Poppy Home.”
