Jonathan needs your support as he takes on the 5 Peaks Challenge in aid of ‘Help for Heroes’ (Ben Nevis background)My name is Jonathan Kendall. I am 19 years old and in my first year of studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Loughborough University.

I have for many years now been a Cadet Flt Sgt at 121 ( Nuneaton ) Squadron Air Training Corps.

In this time I have taken part of numerous charity events and thanks to the cadets I have also been involved in a wide range of adventure training activities including the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme; however I have never thought to combine the two. Now thanks to the Loughborough RAG office I am now going to take part in the 5 peaks challenge on 21st - 24th June.

The 5 Peaks challenge is Duke of Edinburgh to the extreme. It involves ascending and descending the five highest peaks in Britain ; Ben Nevis , Scaffell Pike, Snowdon , Helvellyn and Cadair Idris. I only have 3 days to complete the event which is really what make this a ‘challenge'.

I need to raise a minimum of £350, I hope to make it a lot more as the money raised will be going to the ‘Help for Heroes' charity.

So if you would like to help me to Help our Heroes, please find time to visit www.justgiving.com/Jonathan-Kendall and make an online donation to this great cause.
