Warwickshire based Polish airmen who lost their lives while serving with the RAF during the Second World War will been remembered during a special service.
The Coventry Branch of the Polish Ex-Combatants Association will be holding their annual Remembrance Service at the St John the Baptist Cemetery , Baginton, near Coventry Airport on Sunday 6 th November.
The parade will assemble at the Royal British Legion Club, Kimberly Road, Baginton and will march of at 3pm. Drummers from the band of 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron will lead the way as the parade of standards and veterans marches through Baginton village on its way to the graves of the Polish Airman who lost their lives whilst serving with 308 (Krakow) Squadron at RAF Baginton.
Polish veterans, their families and members of other ex-service associations are invited to attend.
