Staff go for luxury Squadron transport

This year the staff from 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron made a grand entrance at the Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing Dinner and Dance when they arrived champagne glasses in hand at The Village Hotel Coventry in their stretched limousine. If there were a prize for turning up in style we would have certainly clinched it this time. It was definitely a step up from the minibus as a mode of Squadron transport.

The evening itself was a great success an opportunity for the Squadrons staff and committee to get together socially and enjoy a night out together. Having left the function the staff from 121 continued to enjoy themselves as they journeyed home in the luxurious splendour of the Squadron limousine. The only disappointment came when the Squadron's civilian committee chairman turned down the request to replace the unit's minibus with a new limo. After such an excellent evening all that remains is for us to plan an even more spectacular mode of transport for next year.
