Air Cadets from 1368 Squadron based in Warwick & Leamington Spa are now recovering after a 35mile, 3 day trek across the mountainous Welsh countryside.

Based at Elan Valley 10 cadets set off into the hills with only one aim; to either pass their Bronze or Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Award. Throughout the expedition the cadets had the chance to develop their navigational skills and excel in their leadership abilities.

Civilian Instructor Jason Evans, DofE course specialist said ‘I'm very impressed with the determination the cadets have to succeed and I ‘m very happy to report that we had a 100% success rate, with no individual quitting.
