Readers of the Wing Web-Site may remember articles about Cadet Flight Sergeant Craig Boyfield who in the time that he was with No 163 (Coventry-Phoenix) Squadron racked up achievement after achievement.

Well it now looks as if history is going to be repeating as in the space of a month Cadet Sergeant Naomi Boyfield followed in her Brother’s footsteps by achieving two of the things that he had.

Firstly after proving that she was more than capable in the roll of Sergeant, Cadet Sergeant Naomi Boyfield became Cadet Flight Sergeant Naomi Boyfield.

However Cadet Flight Sergeant Naomi Boyfield wasn’t about to stop there as no sooner had she been promoted then she achieved her Corps Marksmanship Award.

The big question is what will Cadet Flight Sergeant do next and the only way to find out the answer is to watch this space.

Flight Lieutenant L Vile RAFVR(T), Officer Commanding 163 Squadron said, “ seeing what Cadet Flight Sergeant Boyfield has achieved in such a short time is proof positive of what can be done when the right approach is adopted and its awards such as these that make being the Commanding Officer worthwhile.”
