Cadets from 163 Coventry Phoenix Squadron, marched into Sainsbury’s, Canley, Coventry on Saturday 16 th December 2006, and helped shoppers by packing their bags.

The cadets had a brilliant response from the Manager who had also been asked to pass on thanks from the Shoppers, and is looking forward to seeing the cadets again in 2007.

Total raised £1309.00, in 8 hours work by 11 Cadets and Staff. All monies raised will go towards a mini bus for the squadron.

Taking the festive sprit to old folk by giving them a small present, and wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Cadets put on a display of drill as entertainment for the residents and staff, followed by a final parade and March off.
