Six Cadets and two Staff from 165 (Castle Bromwich) Squadron were asked to assist with the Help For Heroes charity at the football match between Walsall Town and Millwall at the Bescot Stadium in Walsall on Saturday 6 th March.

The Cadets were lead out onto the pitch at the start of the match, along with an equal number of Army Cadets, to publicise this very important and active charity which raises huge amounts of money to help badly injured servicemen and women to rebuild their lives following treatment.

The organisers of the event were very pleased with the standards of the Cadets from both Forces and believe that the presence of the Cadets will have helped to raise both the profile of the Help For Heroes charity and a significant amount of money.
