DofE First for 165 Squadron

Following a busy season, 165 (Castle Bromwich) Sqn have attained another D of E 'First'. Cdt Sgt Emma Hart was recently presented with her Gold award by Wg Cdr Pravin Ladwa, Officer Commanding Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing. Cdt Sgt Hart is the first ever female Gold Award holder on the unit.

In another first, C.I.'s Lee and Rachel Hodson were also successful in gaining their Gold awards making them the first adult members of staff on the unit to gain Gold.

165 Sqn have now attained their biggest ever annual number of awards with a total of 21 including 10 Silvers, all of whom are aiming for Gold in the coming year.
