"194 (BSA) Squadron had the honour of being  asked to provide a Fanfare and Guard of Honour for the Lord Mayor of Birmingham at the recent Poppy Appeal launch at the Council House in the centre of Birmingham.

Trumpeters from the Squadron played a fanfare at the start and finish of the event, and after his speech, the Lord Mayor came and thanked every cadet individually for their attendance and performance. The cadets later enjoyed refreshments provided by the Lord Mayor in the Council House."
