A cadet & member of staff of 2030 (Elmdon & Yardley) Squadron have been presented with their BTEC First Diploma's in Public Services.

The certificates were presented by the commanding officer, Flt Lt Bennett, to Cdt Sgt Sam Hanna, and to CI Wakeman, who completed the award whilst he was a CWO on the squadron.

Sgt Hanna achieved a Distinction, and CI Wakeman a Distinction*. Cdt Sgt Hanna commented that: " The units were very interesting to study, and that it was great to get a certificate that is nationally recognised."  

These are the first of hopefully many more academic certificates for the squadron.
