2030 (Elmdon & Yardley) Squadron Air Training Corps had its annual presentation evening on Saturday 9 th October 2010 . Dignitaries at the presentation evening included the Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Len Gregory, the chief executive officer of Birmingham Airport Paul Kehoe, Wing Commander Ladwa, Royal Air Force Association chairman Ron Powers, Knowle Royal British Legion vice president Ray Warren, and Wing Staff Officer Squadron Leader Mumford. The evening was in recognition of the cadets achievements over the past year, and to recognise those cadets that stood out in particular areas.

Each cadet was presented a certificate of achievement by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham , in recognition of the overall achievement of all the cadets on the Squadron, other trophies were awarded for skills to individual cadets for example in shooting. Cadet James Morgan was presented the Cooke Award for best cadet.

The evening concluded at the Sheldon Royal Air Force Association, for an opportunity for friends and family to meet the Squadron staff and see photo's of the cadets taking part in various activities throughout the past year.
