2030 (Elmdon & Yardley) Sqn made use of the ACO recruitment marquee at Sheldon Country Fair . Up to 20,000 people visit the Fair yearly, so 2030 squadron saw it as a prime opportunity to recruit within the local community.

Although the weather was bleak the cadets made a day of it with potentially several new recruits to join the ACO. The squadron was also there to lend a helping hand to the Royal Air Force Association, who took shelter with their tombola stand under the marquee.

RAFA also had an extremely good day raising money for the annual Wings Appeal.
