During the service at the new cathedral the cadets from 2438 (Bishop Ullathorne) Squadron listened to the Coventry's Lord Mayor Cadets from the Air Training Corps, Sea Cadet Corps and Army Cadet Force give thanks and readings from the Old Testament.
The cadets then marched in the parade with current members of the armed forces, veterans and other cadet forces as onlookers stood in doorways and at the roadside to pay their respects to our servicemen past and present.
Flight Lieutenant Nathan Adams, Officer Commanding 2438 Squadron said: “It was very pleasing to see cadets from 2438 (Bishop Ullathorne) Squadron join the parade to celebrate the achievements of members of our armed forces both past and present. It is important for the cadets to recognise the importance of our servicemen and the sacrifices they make in the name of freedom, both over the past conflicts as well as current operations.”
