Poppy's are go

Cadets at 2438 Squadron (Bishop Ullathorne) Sqn will be out in force again this year to support the Poppy campaign for the Royal British Legion.

Cadets and volunteer staff are ready to help the No. 1 Coventry Branch Royal British Legion to raise the much-needed funds required to support veterans of all our armed forces.

The cadets will be at the Coventry v Reading game at the Ricoh arena on Saturday 31st October, Coventry v London Welsh rugby match at the Butts arena on Friday 6 November, and at Cannon Park shopping centre in-between these dates.

All the staff and cadets acknowledge the importance of supporting this great cause and they will also be taking part in the annual Remembrance Parade in the city on Sunday 8th November joining other members of the Armed and Cadet Forces as well as veterans.

Flight Lieutenant Nathan Adams, Officer Commanding 2438 Squadron said, “This is an important event in the Squadron Calendar. This gives the Cadets the opportunity to recognise the sacrifices made in the name of freedom and to be able to raise vital funds to support the work of the Royal British Legion.”
