Cadets and staff from 2438 (Bishop Ullathorne) Squadron air cadets have recently manned a recruitment stand in Coventry City Centre's, Lower Precinct shopping centre.
The cadets were promoting the Squadron's upcoming recruitment intake. They were handing out leaflets specially designed to promote the activities of 2438 Squadron.
Mentioned in the Coventry Telegraph the week leading up to the day the recruitment stand led to a large amount of interest from young people shopping in the town centre and a lot of recruitment leaflets for the Squadron being handed out to prospective cadets.
Flight Sergeant Alan Tillman of 2438 Squadron said: " The recruitment stand has been a huge success and was helped with the advertising in the local press. This has meant that many of the people coming to the stand already had knowledge of it and were genuinely interested in the Air Training Corps."
