Tuesday 6 th April was another record breaking evening for 487 Kingstanding and Perry Barr Sqn as a total of 10 cadets received their First Class certificates and badges, along with a staff cadet classification for Sgt Steven Lycett.

What made the evening more spectacular was the fact that due to the Easter Holidays, another 7 cadets didn't receive their hard won certificates.

All 17 first class cadets are now training hard both for their leading exams and the Wing Field Training Day in June.

Flt Lt Brendan O'Neill, OC 487 Sqn commented “To get 17 cadets through the junior cadet programme is a fantastic effort both by the cadets and the staff at 487 Sqn. I hope that all go from strength to strength in the future”.
