On Tuesday 8 th December, Wg Cdr Ladwa, OC Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing ATC, visited 487 Sqn to present Wing Medals to the Sqn's Aircraft Recognition Team.

The team, ex FS Steve Mason, now CI Steve Mason and Cdts Andrew and Kemp, have won the wing championship for the past three years, and they have also won the regional championship for the past two years.

Wg Cdr Ladwa commented "This team has not represented 487 Sqn, but also our wing and our region for the past two years. This is a great achievement by the team and they are a credit to both your Sqn and our Wing. The commitment that these cadets have shown is fantastic and they are to be applauded".
