Top Gun Kids
The day consisted of the Air Cadets flying in the Royal Air Force trainer aircraft under the guidance of RAF pilots. Cadets had the opportunity to be a passenger, and then during the flight the Cadets were given the opportunity to take the controls of the aircraft aircraft and perform some basic manoeuvres. Cadet Layton said "It was one of the best experiences I ever had" and he hopes that he will get more opportunities to do some more flying throughout his career. |

Four Air Cadets from 489 (Acocks Green & Olton) Squadron spent a glorious sunny day living the Top Gun dream at RAF Cosford.
