Left Congratulations, Junior Girls Athletic Trophy and the Girls Combined Trophy are seen here in the proud hands of Cadets from 493 (Kings Heath) Squadron. The trophies were won whilst competing in the Wing Athletics held on Sunday May 7 th at Hadley Stadium Smethwick.

Right Six Cadets from 493 Squadron were also selected to represent the Wing at the Regional Athletics held on Sunday 14 th May. Here we have Sgt S Haynes, Cdt G Hicks and Cdt L Hicks. All Cadets gained their Wing Blues Cdt (F) Rose gained 4 th place in the Javelin event. Both the Hicks girls gained medals
(1 st & 2 nd ) and Hicks L may represent the Region having won her individual Long Jump event.
