Cadet Michael Fogg was presented with 495 (Sutton Coldfield) Squadron's Attendance Award on Tuesday 1 st May. Michael a new recruit won the award for best attendance at the squadron for the 6 month period from 1 st October 2006 to 31 st March 2007 . Michael attained an excellent attendance throughout the 6 month period attending 42 of a possible 45 parades.

The award presented by Flight Lieutenant David Jones, the former OC of the Squadron upon his retirement, has been awarded some 8 times previously and Michael is only the second junior cadet to have won the sought after trophy. In his short time with the squadron Michael has participated in flying, gliding, shooting, sporting activities and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
