Jaguar Land Rover Citizenship Days

The team from Jaguar Land RoverA team of 10 helpers recently took time out from their busy work schedules at Jaguar Land Rover and spent 2 days on a mission to give the cadets at 495 (Sutton Coldfield) Squadron a headquarters they can really be proud of.

The team worked really hard over the 2 days tidying up the inside and outside of the squadrons HQ. Re-painting, floor buffing, weeding and relaying gravel were all on the agenda. Time and effort was not the only thing that the team put into the project, thanks must also go to Jaguar Land Rover for financing the purchase of the paint and the gravel.

Flt Lt Nick Upton, Officer Commanding said "Thanks must go to all the guys who helped over the 2 days, also to Jaguar Land Rover for their support of the project both financially and in allowing the guys to take the time out from work. Special thanks to CI Anthony Farrell for organising the whole project and for A F Sgt Chris Harvey who also helped over the 2 days".
