Cadets from 495 (Sutton Coldfield) Squadron were lucky enough to meet 2 local dignitaries recently.

The cadets were on hand to help and assist the RAF presentation team at a recent function held at Jaguar Cars visitor centre. One of three local squadrons to help out over 3 nights of presentations, 495 squadron cadets assistance coincided with the visits of The Mayor of Birmingham, Mr Chaudry Rashid and The Mayor of Solihull, Mr Norman Davies.

Flt Lt Nick Upton, Officer Commanding 495 Sqn said "I am very proud that our cadets were asked to support the Royal Air Force at this presentation as the ACO is very much the public face of the RAF within the community. I have had nothing but positive feedback from the cadets who were involved on the night"
