Tank You Very Much

Daventry cadets Isaac Goode, Ryan Wilson, Lee Dalgliesh and Tony Cotterill were fortunate enough to visit RAF Cosford on 12th February for Air Experience Flying.

It was Lee's first time flying, and afterwards he said “It was fantastic! I'm definitely going again.” Isaac, a slightly more experienced flyer commented “Flying was awesome!!!!! I got to do aerobatics by myself, so much fun!”

The boys also had the opportunity to visit the RAF Museum during the day, observing aircraft from WW1, WW2 and the Cold War, with them particularly showing interest in one of the tanks at the museum. We suggest RAF Cosford keep a good eye on it! All of them agreed it had been a brilliant day, and hopefully more opportunities to fly would be coming their way in the future.
