After the disappointment of the Christmas laser quest trip being cancelled due to the snow, the cadets and staff of 497 (Daventry) were excited to finally make it to the Northampton laserquest site.

For some reason (which is not entirely clear) the cadets decided to be the Star Trek team and the NCO's and senior cadets opted for Star Wars, with the staff forming a Stargate team, and then the fun began. The force was obviously with the Star Wars team who won by a large margin, with Han Solo (Cdt Jack Curtis) scoring the most points. However the staff team came out vowing to get their revenge at bowling in a few weeks time. We shall see!

Flt Lt Broom, who was unable to be at the event due to flu, commented that it was good for cadets and staff to be able to enjoy such an event, after the hard work in 2010, and he thanked the Civilian Committee for subsidising this event and the unexpected trip to McDonalds in December due to the snow.
