On a recent visit to 84 ( Coventry Airport ) Squadron the Wing Training & Personnel Officer Squadron Leader Martin Harrison presented First Class Classification badges to two younger cadets.

Cadets James Georiades aged 13 and Kirsty Irvine aged 14 were given the badges after having successfully completed their basic training.

The Officer in charge Flying Officer David Vile said "It is always a pleasure to see cadets pass exams after all of the hard work that goes into them. But the First Class examination in my opinion is the most significant for them. Not only is it the first examination that they sit, but it also now opens the doors for them to participate in all the activities the organisation can offer."
