Presentations for Coventry Cadets

Cadets Esme Horne, Matthe Randall, Aaron Thompson, Ben Tranter, Sqn Ldr Harrison and Best Cadet with his trophy Tom Foster.On a recent visit to 8F (1 st City of Coventry ) Squadron the Wing Training & Personnel Officer Squadron Leader Martin Harrison made five presentations.

The first was to Cadet Tom Foster as the Best Cadet of the Month. The others were to four cadets who passed their First Class examination the same evening.

The Squadron Commanding Officer Flight Lieutenant Steve Jenkins said, "Cdt Foster has shown he is the best Cadet on the Squadron for the month of October by parading in the best uniform, having a positive attitude and showing
an example to other cadets. I am very pleased that he has achieved this award and hope he continues in this vein. Well Done"

Squadron Leader Harrison said "To present First Class badges always gives me immense pleasure as it the first step on the ladder of achievement within the Air Training Corps. It is often underrated but means so much to the cadets and of course enables them to begin their ATC careers proper and in earnest. Things can only get better for these cadets from now on".
