2011 is the 70th Anniversary of the Air Training Corps.
To celebrate this historic occasion, the Air Cadet Organisation, will be holding a number of top events and parades, all under the title of Air Cadet 70th or AC70.
Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing will be holding it's first major 70th Anniversary event on Sunday 6th February when it's hoped that representatives and standards from all 27 of the Wings Squadrons will be on parade in Daventry for a church service to commemorate the formation of the Air Training Corps which was established on 5th February 1941.
The Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing will also be marking the 70th Anniversary of the Air Training Corps when it takes part in a display during the 2011 Birmingham Military Tattoo at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham .
To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Air Training Corps, a special AC70 logo has been designed for use throughout 2011.
There is no set style guide to accompany the new design, but all users are expected to use it responsibly and are not permitted to alter the design.
An AC70 Engagement strategy document which will be of interest to Squadron Media Communication Officers is also available for download.
Please keep coming back to see how you can get involved. This page will be updated and new information added as it becomes available.
