On 17th of March 2007 I was selected to play rugby for Central and East Region. This entailed going to RAF Cosford and playing a tournament against the other five regions, and other cadets from all over England , Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland . The day was a great success and unfortunately Central and East Region lost a close match in the final to Scotland and N. Ireland Region.

This meant a Region Blue and Silver Medals for our team, and making us the second best fifteen in the entire Air Cadets.

The opportunity came about due to dedication and getting up early to go to trial matches and Wing games to finally be picked to represent the Region team. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly and hope to represent Region for the senior team next year.
