OC Wing Shows How It’s Done
|

| Officer Commanding Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing ATC, Wing Commander Pravin Ladwa has recently spent some time on annual camp with a group of his cadets and staff who attended the first week of his wings camps at RAF ST Mawgan in Cornwall . Despite only being there for just 3 days he was able to quickly align himself to the winning teams!!!. In the Laser Quest battles he took his team through to become eventual champions, and it was clear he was trying hard as many of the staff could hear him from outside shouting instructions to his team inside the large darkened hangar!. He was eventually eliminated like most staff in the free for all games where for some inexplicable reason he got shot more than anyone else!!
Not only content with his teams victory in the Laser Quest he also took part in the staff go karting race and won!!! But being in pole position at the start helped as none of the staff could catch him!! and believe me, they tried!!!
He was also able to spend some considerable time briefing the cadets on the future of the Region, Corps and the Wing, and due to his positive impact in taking part in activities the cadets did warm to this more relaxed style. Many commenting on never seeing him like this before!
