Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing took part in the above championships which were held took at Leicester on Sunday 1 st June 2008.  Unfortunately due to a clash of events, HMS Bristol Camp, Cosford Air Display, School Exams and Holidays, we ended up with our weakest team ever.  A total of 30 cadets out of a team of 45 cadets selected were unavailable and as a result we had to rely on reserves and volunteers to make up the team.

Apart from the above reasons given for not attending there was the usual last minute withdrawals, one cadet discovered the night before that she had to baby-sit, another cadet realized that he they had an exam the next day and another cadet E Mailed her CO to say that she couldn't get to the pick-up point in spite of the fact that 4 other cadets from the same squadron could possibly have given her a lift.
