The results of the semi-final stage of the above competition were as follows:

The final was played at DCAE Cosford on sun. 16 th March and as anticipated turned out to be a very close match. 479 Sqn. took the lead when Cdt. Kyle Foxall scored for them after only 10 mins. FS Craig Perkins equalized for 8F Sqn. 5 mins. after half time. The score remained the same until full time, so extra time had to be played. Just as it seemed that the match would have to be decided on penalties 8F Sqn. scored the winning goal with only 2 mins of extra time remaining. The goal was scored once again by FS Perkins This meant that the final result was: 8F Sqn. 2 v 479 Sqn. 1 The trophy was presented to the winning team by Wg. Cdr. P Ladwa who pointed out that it was the first time in their history that 8F Sqn. had won this trophy.
INTER – REGION JUNIOR NETBALL FESTIVAL Congratulations are also due to three of our girls who were selected to represent Central and East Region in the Junior Girls Netball Team at the Corps Junior Netball Festival which was held at DCAE Cosford on sat. 15 th March. The Region won the trophy by beating their nearest rivals South West Region 13 – 10 to finish top of the league and to remain unbeaten in the competition. The cadets were

INTER – REGION JUNIOR RUGBY FESTIVAL Congratulations are also due to three of our boys who were selected to represent Central and East Region in the Junior Rugby Team at the Corps Junior Rugby Festival which was also held at DCAE Cosford on sat 15 th March. Unfortunately Cadet David Baxter from 487 (Kingstanding) Sqn. had to withdraw at the last minute due to a leg injury he sustained when representing his school at rugby. Not to be outdone by the girls, the Region also won the trophy beating Wales and West Region in the final 8 – 0. The cadets were as follow
