WING INTER-SQUADRON FOOTBALL COMPETITION – 2007 / 2OO8 The semi-finals of the above competition have now been completed and the results were as follows.
The Final will therefore be between 479 Sqn v 8F Sqn and will take place at DCAE Cosford on sun. 16 March, kick-off 1030hrs. Spectators are welcome REGIONAL SENIOR FOOTBALL & HOCKEY COMPETITIONS The Preliminary Rounds in the above events took place on sun. 17 Feb. 08 at RAF Cranwell. Unfortunately both of our teams lost and are therefore eliminated from the competitions. The boys soccer team lost 3 – 2 in a close fought match which they really should have won had they taken all their chances. The girl's team, which was selected by phone due to the poor turnout at the trials, lost 12 – 0. Never the less 7 boys and 2 girls have been chosen to attend the Regional Trials on the 30 March at RAF Wittering. They are as follows:
