On Saturday 19th February 2011, at the Regional Activity Centre, RAF Wyton, Squadron Leader Bernard Tisley was presented with the first clasp to his Cadet Forces Medal, by Wing Commander Pravin Ladwa, Region Training Officer and OC Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing.

Wing Commander Ladwa said, “It is always a pleasure to present these awards, marking the commitment to the Air Cadets that all volunteers have”.

Squadron Leader Tisley was taken completely by surprise by the presentation and said,” I am pleased to receive the award, making the work I do with the cadets even more rewarding.”
