St Georges Day Church Service

On Sunday the 26 April 2009 over 40 cadets and staff from 487,489,493 Sqns and 487 DF attended a church service to celebrate England 's National day and support the annual event that was organised by the Birmingham Federation of Ex Service Association.

The service was attended by the current Lord Mayor of Birmingham Mr Chauhdry Abdul Rashid JP who spoke with cadets after the service.

Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing once again made an excellent impression to all that attended. The chairman of the Federation Mr John Dolphin said the cadets have done our organisation proud with their smart and impressive turnout, he thanked them for their attendance.

Flt Lt Chris Mumford the Officer In Charge said " Once again Squadrons have come together to support a local event that puts our Wing in the public eye and celebrates our national day. Thank you for your support.
