Wg Cdr P.P. Ladwa RAF VR(T) on behalf of the Commandant of Air Cadets, presented
Flt.Lt. R. Boden RAF VR(T) Rtd, with an award for Meritorious Services rendered while serving the Air Training Corps. The Commandant congratulated Flt.Lt. Boden on his achievement and was pleased to acknowledge his example and devotion to duty.

Flt.Lt. Boden joined ATC in 1949 and apart from 8 years service in the Royal Air Force and a 2 year career break, he has actively been involved in various posts throughout the ATC , including Officer Commanding 2028 Sqn between 1985 and 1992 culminating in his present position as Wing Treasurer from which he is looking to retire in March 2011 after some 13 years in that office.

The Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing ATC thanks him for unfailing commitment and wishes him well in his forthcoming retirement.
