Mission Statement:
To manage and improve the standards of cadet marksmanship and the level of weapon training across the Wing so that the Wing complies with the shooting policies and standards laid down by HQAC.

Objectives:

  • To promote weapon training for cadets and staff across the Wing through the use of a Wing Shooting Training Team of Qualified Instructors.
  • Liase with the Regional shooting training team.
  • Ensure cadets, Squadron staff and shooting qualified staff adhere to the Corps shooting rules, regulations and safety policies.
  • Act a the single point of contact within the Wing on shooting matters.
  • Approve the annual shooting certificates of staff on behalf of OC Wing.
